Everyone knows the legend of Hercules and his twelve labors. Our story begins after the labors, and after the legend. Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. the rock is one busy mofo...after Hercules he goes and films the next Fast & Furious movie, and I just read he signed on to a a big budget Earthquake disaster movie.

I'm hoping for the first teaser trailer to turn out like this, "The opening is of a voice over describing the trials that every hero faces during their time of fame and triumph, we then see landscapes of temples, monsters, battles of blood and mercenaries getting ready to attack a legion of troops of a corrupt king. The voice over then is describing the fall of a great hero that must rise from his own ashes of hell to ascend to glory that he once held with pride and respect. As the teaser ends, we see a large wall of beams in what appears to be a royal prison where through the cracks of the pillars there is a figure in shadow with his arms in thick chains surrounded by rock-like shackles. The figure rises, his face nearly covered with long dark hair, with one beam of light shining on, reveals this to be a bearded and pissed Hercules when the teaser ends. At least that' what I hoping for something like that.

I am pretty sure his face painted as a clown and it is story twist of the movie, that's the only reasonable answer to why we keep seeing his back.
