THIS MOVIE IS TERRIBLE. Please don't fall for the hype on the trailers! This is the worst movie I have ever seen. No Joke. Right there with Batman & Robin.

The movie is awesome! Seriously it's one of the best action movies lately. It's a perfect blend of action and comedy. It reminds me of the great 90's actions like Die Hard or Lethal Weapon.

And the best part of all is that you get what you saw. The movie is exactly as in the trailer:)

The 1973 version's the best.
This attempt is a rip-off of the success of Downey,Jr.'s 'Sherlock Holmes'. That stylized version worked...because it was good on every level. Usually these copy-cat movies don't work.

Yup. Pretty much Die Hard and Lethal weapon. It's not as good of course since those movies are iconic but is extremely great action filled ride

And it has nothing to do with Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock was basically House M.D The Three Musketeers was as I mentioned pure action with some wiseass chaarcters

And no I am joking. My mistake on the decade but it was a great movie. Don't listen to sad basement dwellers who just like to bitch. Go out and see it for yourself. The movie is exactly what it claims to be. And as long as you are not biased you will enjoy it greatly. Great action, great action, great cast and truly great visuals

@SuperArgo- Yeah, you're right. It's a 'Pirates' rip-off too.

next up: another remake of Dracula... Van Hesling runs a Kung Fu school and challenges in slo-mo Dracula in the streets of London through the fog and castles of the martial arts using Europeans!!

Great cast but.....I don't know I can deal with this level of over the topness from POC but I guess cause this is based on a classic novel, this is lookin pretty dumb to me. Might be fun if I can get over the dumb.

Does Paul W.S. Anderson have to shoehorn Milla Jovovich in EVERY movie he does now? I haven't read the 3 muskateers books in a while but I'm [retty sure the Muskateers were all guys and didn't have a woman who was their "only hope".

I agree with werty. Not about the movie being great, go see it for yourselves. Really go see it and when you're so mad that you'll punch your grandma don't blame me. THIS movie is a waste of film, just like Van Helsing.

@batmanrises see the 1973 version... Faye Dunaway played the same role...Milady de Winter. She acts as a spy for Cardinal Richelieu and is one of the chief antagonists of the story.

Did i see right or is Milady going to be one of the Musketeers before she becomes Richelieu´s agent?
NOT GOOD!! This clip was cheesy as hell!

I dont mind the actors some of them are perfect choices. I dont mind the steampunk style it gives it a cheery new look (not the same old).
But judging by that clip better script is going to be necessary!

Still i dont strike it down until i have seen it.

There is NO way anyone making this movie has ever read the story. They watched the 90's version and said, "it just didn't deviate from the source material enough. 100 years from now, someone is going to make another 3M movie and they will have uzis and lightsabers. :/

@Intruder you never fail to make me speechless with your opinions. This looks good to you? It gets hate cause it's shitty acting and directed by Paul WS Anderson who used to make good films. It's getting scathing reviews if you look it up on rotten tomatoes.

The cast makes it look very ass to me. The action's as good as Anderson's typical use of it but the cast sucks. The only good thing about it is Mikkelsen. Stevenson looks wooden in this, just like he was in Punisher. I don't understand why though because he was brilliant in King Arthur AND in Thor. This movie's like a polar opposite from Disney's take at it where the action sucked but the cast MADE IT awesome. To this day, it is still my favorite movie cast yet!
