Kevin Tancharoen who is directing the upcoming 'Mortal Kombat' web-series has used his Twitter account once again to give us another image, this time revealing Matt Mullins as Johnny Cage.
Kevin is currently in Vancouver filming his Warner Bros. produced web-series and Jeri Ryan will reprise her role as Sonya Blade, and Michael Jai White will also return to the character of Jackson 'Jax' Briggs along with Darren Shahlavi as Kano, and Ian Anthony Dale is returning as Scorpion.
"Written by Kevin Tancharoen, Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing, and available online this spring from Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, the “Mortal Kombat” digital new media series is an anthology of multiple live action shorts. Each episode will provide never-before-revealed insights into characters featured in the upcoming videogame as well as the game’s universe…Fans will be able to delve deep into the history of the warriors they know and love including “Sub-Zero” and “Scorpion."
"Dont Rattle The Cage!"
I think Matt was a pretty decent choice for Johnny, as long as they don't kill him off this time. Frankly I think the whole web-series is shaping up to be really good and I cant wait until the first episode premieres.
