That seems to be the common question surrounding these gender-swapping reboots, but it's happening nonetheless and tomorrow we're getting our first trailer for Ocean's 8.
In the meantime, Warner Bros. has released the first teaser today. The brief teaser contains some footage of the upcoming Ocean's 11 spin-off which sees Sandra Bullock as Debbie Ocean, the sister of George Clooney's Danny Ocean, convincing a team of her own to pull of a heist at the Met Gala. It doesn't reveal much, but it gets the point across.
Sandra Bullock leads a strong cast of female stars that includes the likes of Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, and Richard Armitage.
The heist is on when Ocean's 8 hits theaters June 8, 2018.
