Video blogs seem to be the new rage. Peter Jackson has done as many as five for
The Hobbit. His videos are stuffed with behind-the-scenes footage, and stories from the set. While this first outing from Sam Mendes is pretty flimsy in comparison. Jackson's blogs can be as long as fifteen minutes, and 007's first one is not even two minutes. But still, it is nice to see a little glimpse of Daniel Craig as Bond even if it's just for a few seconds. Enjoy!
"I’ve made six movies and this is the first time I’ve shot in this country – which is an extraordinary thing. I feel like the American years were my apprenticeship for doing a Bond movie!"
"I think it is still possible to make a big, entertaining, fabulous, glamorous movie and yet at the same time to say something about the world that we’re living in."
"The roots of my doing this Bond movie start way before anybody approached me because, like everyone else, I have my own personal relationship with Bond which began when I was I suppose about nine or ten years old. I’ve always been a fan of the movies."
Skyfall, Craig's third outing as James Bond will be released on October 26, 2012. Daniel Craig will be joined by Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, as well as a Judi Dench as M.
