Following Lucasfilm's recent announcements that Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Solo: A Star Wars Story), Thomas Kretschmann (Avengers: Age of Ultron; Penny Dreadful: City of Angels) and Mads Mikkelsen (Doctor Strange, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) will be joining Harrison Ford in James Mangold's upcoming Indiana Jones movie, we have word on two more key cast members.
According to Deadline, Shaunette Renée Wilson (Black Panther, The Resident) and Boyd Holbrook (Logan, The Predator) will both be joining the intrepid archaeologist on his latest adventure. No details on their roles were provided, and the plot of this fifth installment in the long-running franchise is also under wraps.
Holbrook will be best known for his villainous turn in Logan, but he's also appeared in the likes of The Predator and Narcos. More recently, he donned a cape for Netflix's superhero flick We Can Be Heroes. Wilson, meanwhile, was a fixture on Fox's The Resident before departing the show after its fourth season, and she also appeared as one of the Dora Milaje in Black Panther.
Logan director James Mangold is taking the helm, and it's also been confirmed that John Williams will return as composer. Kathleen Kennedy, Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel will serve as producers.
The still untitled Indiana Jones 5 will swing into theaters July 29, 2022.
