Three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to them developing uncanny powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities, and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control, and their darker sides begin to take over.

There's a lot of interest surrounding Chronicle, with the first trailer generating a fair bit of excitement when it was released a few weeks back. The "found footage" effect which has been used in movies such as Paranormal Activity, Cloverfield and Quarantine has started to grate a little with some moviegoers, but this promises to offer up a somewhat fresher take on the genre. Check out the international trailer courtesy of BadTaste.it below and sound off with your thoughts in the usual place.

lol Hancock. :P but yeah this looks awesome, can't wait to see this. really does have that Akira vibe to it. just hope it doesn't end with the typical "found footage" ending ---showing absolutely nothing and leaving you saying "that's it?"

So don't take my motion sick friends to this movie or there may be more than butter covering my popcorn?

@ HBAIT- I agree it sounds similar to the premise of Hancock but that appears to be where the similarities stop.

I wonder, to make this movie that much more fresh, if they use telekinesis to film. There's a few scenes in the flick where they're all being filmed, but who is holding the camera. Yes, they could set it up on a tripod or prop it up on something, but it be that much cooler if they took the documentary step further and incorporated the power thing.

Creative idea. I haven't gained that much interest in the movie though, but we'll see. This poster is a good start.

Ah, a break from the exorcist films, boring parady movies, lame romantic comedies and rushed comic book movies. Lets do this.
