Actually George Lazenby is far better than he's given credit for. Also, IF Connery had played Bond in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, it would have easily been the best of the series. Ironically Connery left partially because there was no character development in the films, and OHMSS was all about character.

Well, if he get to played JB in "OHMSS", Bond could never say this line " This never happened to the other fellow " ...........

Ryden, what's very funny is the way people's views of the character are colored by the Bond they grew up with. I saw my first Bond film in 1965 (it was Thunderball), so for me, Connery is 007. A good friend of mine LOVES the Roger Moore films, because he grew up with them. My kids think Pierce Brosnan is the best Bond.

Since your shameless self promotion doesn't appear as if it will ever stop can you at least stick to comic properties? So lame.

Well I was never a Bond fan growing up, it was only when I was half-way through my teen years that I watched Bond...and Connery was the Bond I was watching, he was awesome ;)

Dr. Donald Draper, actually there have been LOTS of James Bond comics over the years, so hopefully you'll be able to sleep tight tonight with that knowledge.

Ryden, Connery is definitely the man, though I have to say that I was a MAJOR doubter of Daniel Craig and the guy just blew me away with Casino Royale.

When I was a kid, my uncle gave me a Spanish James Bond comic. I couldn't make head's or tails of it, except for one line: "Me nombre es Bond. James Bond." I kind of figured that one out.

Wow I don't get why Ed promoting stuff for EM is getting people's panties in a twist. FFS.

@Dr. Donald Draper Dude even I knew Bond had a comic book and even if it didn't WHO THE [frick] CARES. People have no problem posting crap about Avatard and it doesn't have a comic book...

Bond is really a M2CB (movie to comic book) item ........ or a GN ( graphic novel ) .........
