@AlexanderLykins It's all good. Everyone loves different eras of Bond. I'm personally a Craig guy, can't stand a lot of the Moore films though.

Connery is the best Bomd. But Craig is brilliant nonetheless. I'm quite excited for Spectre, right now, however, I'm excited for Mission Impossible 5!!!

Craig is the most accurate Ian Flemming-ish James Bond to date (regardless to the aesthetics - that would be Sean) to those who haven't read a book. Most accurate. Mr. Connery is still the best bar none. Not trying insight a riot.

Nowadays, they're all a little serious for my taste
but the old ones ...
Marvelous.
Give me a far-fetched theatrical plot any day
the old Bond movies...

Daniel Craig is my least favorite Bond ever. I'm so ready to get over the bland stuff and move on the the next actor. Haven't enjoyed one of these since Die Another Day.

Nice, same here, I can't wait.

I like Craig's bond, one of my friends can't stand it, and thinks Bond should be just a pure ladies man, etc, but personally, I love the action too. Skyfall was awesome.

I liked Casino Royale, and yeah QOS should have been a lot better, but Andrew Scott is going to own, he's amazing on Sherlock, can't wait for him to bring it

@DoktorWeezil

Uh, the possesive of Mendes is Mendes'. You follow the S at the end of the name with an apostrophe. No second S following it. If you're going to be a grammar nazi, make sure you have the grammar correct first.

@Muckbane

You're both right and wrong. Both are acceptable possessives. It all comes down to the person who is doing the writing. Consistency is the key

Totally, and I hear you. I feel that way about the DCCU right now, it looks amazing but I'm trying to avoid speculation and everything, because once I start to speculate I'm going to expect so much from those movies

I remember that I went into The Dark Knight totally blank, I think I watched one trailer, maybe, but no expectations and that blew me away....

Underwhelming grouping of women, they could have put together a better cast, what ever happened to thed days of Octopussy and such.

I guess I'm going to be the only one to say it, but most of the Connery films are crap. Yes, Sean Connery himself is an icon of masculinity, much like Clint Eastwood or Chuck Norris. But his first couple of films were trying to figure out a formula, the third is overrated, fourth had great Bond girls, fifth I liked the Japanese setting, and sixth was just a big joke. But the kiss of death for all of the Connery films to me is their unabashed sexism, and this criticism is coming from a guy who isn't exactly pro feminist.

Roger Moore was an improvement in that he was genuinely enjoyable to watch, even if his films were absurd, and still often sexist (it's a fault of the character more than anything). They also wore audiences down to the point that when my favorite Bond Timothy Dalton came along, people wanted a break, and unfairly judged Timothy's duology. Then we got a Moore-esque reprisal with Pierce Brosnan, which was cool. And now things have returned to order with Craig's portrayal. While he has his fans, it appears most average Joes like the stiff-ass Brit badass of Connery, Moore, & Brosnan. I prefer the more flawed Dalton & Craig.

^I realize I forgot to mention George Lazenby, and that's frankly because he didn't make much of an impression, even if the film he was featured in was quite good, and one of the best of the franchise.
