MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT EXCLUSIVE Video Interview: Simon Pegg Talks Stunts, Superheroes, And More
In this exclusive video interview, we talk to Simon Pegg about his role as Benji in Mission: Impossible - Fallout, which character from The Cornetto Trilogy would make the best superhero, and much more...
As you're no doubt already well aware if you've read our review, Mission: Impossible - Fallout is nothing short of an action masterpiece. The Christopher McQuarrie helmed sequel features a lot of great performances but among the standouts is British actor Simon Pegg who returns here as tech expert Benji. Delivering some big laughs and a surprising amount of action, he shines throughout.
Recently, I was lucky enough to sit down with Pegg to discuss his role in the movie and we touched on a number of topics. We start by discussing the impact "toxic fandoms" on movies such as this one before touching on Benji's role in Mission: Impossible - Fallout and just how involved he was with some pretty dangerous stunts. I also get the actor to weigh in on working with Justice League's Henry Cavill.
Finally, Pegg talks about not starring in The Boys as Wee Hughie and reveals which of his characters from The Cornetto Trilogy - Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World's End - would make the best superhero (his answer is fantastic). I'd like to say a big thank you to Simon for taking the time to chat with us as well as Paramount Pictures UK and CBM's own Rohan Patel for editing the interview.
