Say what you will about Tom Cruise, but the man can run his ass off!

Mission: Impossible 7 director Christopher McQuarrie has shared a new photo to his Instagram page, and while it looks like another behind-the-scenes shot, it's believed to be the first official promo still for the upcoming action sequel.

The image doesn't reveal very much, but it does feature the now familiar sight of Ethan Hunt (Cruise) getting a little light cardio in.

Check out the photo below.

We found out last night that Mission: Impossible 7 will receive a shortened theatrical release, and will only play for 45 days before heading to the upcoming Paramount+ streaming service.

Plot details are still under wraps, but we assume the story will revolve around Hunt and his team attempting to stop a potentially world-ending threat of some kind.

Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Czerny and Angela Bassett will join Cruise as fellow franchise returnees, and they'll be joined by Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham and Esai Morales.

Mission: Impossible 7 is set for release on November 19, 2021; with Mission: Impossible 8 following on November 4, 2022.
