Here's the official scoop (on the show) via ABC:

Everyone deserves a second chance -- even a thief, a street racer and a cop who got in a little too deep. After all, the three women who solve cases for their elusive boss, Charlie Townsend, are no saints. They're angels... Charlie's Angels.

Set in Miami, this fun, glamorous, action-packed take on the 1970s smash hit series introduces us to three new angels, all fearless detectives, head-turning beauties and close friends. There's Abby (Rachael Taylor), a Park Avenue princess who became a world-class thief. Then there's Kate (Annie Ilonzeh), a Miami cop who fell from grace, losing both her career and her fiancé. Finally there's Gloria, a disgraced army lieutenant who has a way with explosives. When one of the angels' missions ends in Gloria's tragic death, Charlie persuades them to partner with Gloria's childhood friend, Eve (Minka Kelly), a street racer with a mysterious past. They may not know each other yet, but one thing's for sure -- Abby, Kate and Eve will always have each others' backs.

"Hart ot Hart" TV star Robert Wagner (Number Two in the Austin Powers films), has been cast as their unseen boss Charlie. No word yet on who will be playing day-to-day handler Bosley.

The original "Charlie's Angels" centered on three women (Kate Jackson, Jacklyn Smith and the late Fawcett) who worked for a private investigation agency. One of the first shows to showcase women in roles traditionally reserved for men, it ran from 1976 to 1981 and was one of the most successful series of the 1970s.

It will air Thursdays at 8.

I'm personally looking forward to this. I wasn't a big fan of the McG Charlie's Angels movies.

The new Charlie's Angels stars Annie Ilonzeh, Minka Kelly, Rachel Taylor and Ramon Rodriguez with Smallville creators Al Gough and Miles Millar at the helm and premieres on Thursdays at 8/7 Central this Fall on ABC.

[frick] this it does not interest me at all. And even if I did watch it soon it will be gone. All my favorite shows are getting canceled all I have to look forward to this fall is 13 episodes of Chuck WTF. And I don't even watch Supernatural any more after the mid season it was just not as exciting as it used to be. V, Chuck, No Ordinary Family, Lie To Me, Human Target and even Smallville all canceled I have nothing left. Hell I even got into L&O: LA and have not watched a L&O show in years and this new one was pretty good and is getting canceled. Well so far the Mentalist is coming back I hope.

As long as it lasts longer than WONDER WOMAN...

And I would've preferred Rachel Taylor with her real accent, I'm sure they could've worked that into the script somehow.

but I won't be watching it anyway lol

2 cents...
