Looks awesome, though almost nothing like true Sherlock Holmes. Pretty much another variation of the first trailer.

Batman's the world's great detective. Holmes can go suck it. It as in..Batman's superior detective gadgets..and stuff.

@supah: Holmes is the best detective at the time. Kinda like saying Hendrix is the best guitarist of all time, There are better guys out there right now. But give the guy credit where credits due. Read the books, see movies or the television shows. Holmes was a damn good detective.

haha, I mean i couldn't make up my mind watching the other trailers, but this is just..a romp! It will have some humor, some action, a bit of drama, love interest, and thats all fine, but it just doesn't look like any of those things will be done well! I also don't trust Guy Ritchie as far as I could throw him, so, until im proven wrong, Im saying Naaaaaaaa:)

@Ror: Not a big fan of Ritchie at all? Revolver sucked, but I thought Rocknrolla was a step in the right direction for him.

It's definatally a whole other look at Holmes. I've always been a fan of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's story's.
They could have stuck a little closer to the character, but i think it's refreshing to see a villain other than Moriarty in a Holmes movie. Did you know Moriarty only starred in 2 books. Well he did "kill" Holmes.
And the scene on the Tower Bridge looks amazing. Ritchie did do a great job at captuaring that grim victorian style. It reminds me of a mixture between From Hell and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

LOL @ROR, your such a GUY RITCHIE hater!!!!! ;-)

@UGH

I actually dug REVOLVER, but i'm aware that i'm in the minority! I've liked just about all of RITCHIES' films with the exception of that JOKE that MADONNA talked him into.........talk about p*ssy whipped!!!

@SPILOX

Couldn't have said it better myself! He seems to have captured the "feel" of the books perfectly! There are always going to be liberties taken when adapting from a different type of media, but i'm definitely excited about this film!!!
