Superman Returns shouldn't be on this list. Superman four should. Green Lantern shouldn't be here either. And where the heck is Elektra?

never seen catwoman,jonah hex or steel.

but i bet one of these win,i voted steel it does look shit from what i've seen of it.

but where are batman forever,elektra,superman 4 or supergirl?

@Soundwave Oh yeah, I forgot that Elektra existed. :P And fanboys are usually pleased when both GL and SR are spat upon.

But never seen ELEKTRA, STEEL, or HEX too.

P.S. Yes, Elektra, Superman III/IV, Supergirl etc. deserves the place than RETURNS or GL.

@GeekyAvenger Like I said, to make things even I only chose one film from each franchise, usually the one that's most complained about. I hear more complaints about GL and Returns than Elektra or Supergirl.

@PaulRom But Superman IV on Rotten Tomatoes is 10% and Returns is 76%. If you have to make a tough decision like that, shouldn't you choose the one most pandered by critics not fans?

I think you might have forgotten about x3 sir which I thought almost everybody would think is worse than wolverine origins. But all in all I'd say that's a pretty good list.

@Rob7 Really? Last I check, most fan-boys complain more about Wolverine than X3. Could be wrong though.

Why is X-men Origins Wolverine on here? U serious? Green Lantern was good. I don't think anything is as bad as Spiderman 3. Can't watch that movie anymore.

green lantern was fine ppl r rele rele overreacting...and batman forever does not deserve to be on here much worse movies..take the the campy jokes out of the movie it is a good movie and if burton directed it with his writing crew it couldve been a great movie

i have to admit i sort of question transformers being a comic book movie.

transformers originally came from an animated tv show of the 80s that was made to sell toys,the comics came afterwards.

unlike stuff like batman,superman & spider-man which all had comics first before they became films.

maybe i'm just being picky.

@Intruder LOL, were you ever even interested in the film after the first trailer? With the exception of the 3D trailer, you've always said that the movie was gonna be bad, etc. So why would you find it disappointing if you were rarely looking forward to it?

true, Transformers wasn't originally a comic, but there has been ongoing comics for transformers for years and years and years.

i think its safe to call it a CBM now.

and if you guys don't think T-Formers is a CBM, then why aren't you questioning GI-Joe?

sure, GI Joe was originally supposed to be about Nick Fury, until Mattel decided to make it into a gigantic toy line, but the bottom line is that it was a toy/cartoon before it was a comic.

"Prior to G.I. Joe's relaunch in 1982, Larry Hama was developing an idea for a new comic book called Fury Force, which he was hoping would be an ongoing series for Marvel Comics. The original premise had the son of S.H.I.E.L.D director Nick Fury assembling a team of elite commandos to battle neo-Nazi terrorists HYDRA. The idea was nixed, but Hama used the basic premise when he learned of Hasbro's plans to resurrect the G.I. Joe toyline."

being from the uk we didn't have gi joe it was action man & action force.

it was just a name change i believe over here.

i don't know how gi joe started out,the first i heard of him was from a comic book by marvel.

yeah, back in the 60's GI Joe was a barbie doll sized military character that came with different weapons and gear. They had one for the Navy, Army, and Pilot later on.

but originally it was just the one, GI Joe, which is short for General Infantry Joe. I believe you're right though, Action Man and Action Force were the same thing, just a name change, because i think the term GI is US Military thing. :)

It seems whenever there is a poll like this one there are always movies that are left out that need to be on the list. Batman Forever is just as bad as Batman and Robin in my mind especially Tommy Lee Jones as Two Face that character upset me because Tommy Lee Jones could've been awesome as the character if he was done right. Jim Carey was bad as Riddler but that is what I expected from him. Superman Returns, Green Lantern, Ghost Rider, and Spider-Man 3 don't deserve to be on this list. Replace them with Batman Forever, Superman 3 and 4, Supergirl, and Howard the Duck. I know I'll get flak for this but I would even say put Batman Returns on there because I honestly hated that movie. Penguin and Catwoman were just bad and campy.

Ok Green Lantern was disappointing but it's not as bad as either of these movies, WTF are you people smoking?

I mean seriously man come on. Also Seth Rogans Green Hornet should be on this list.

actually, Tommy Lee Jones took the part of Two Face because his son was a batman fan. he was given basically free run with the character, so no, he wouldn't have been good as Two Face, because he did what he wanted and it still sucked.

oh, and Ghost Rider definately deserves to be on this list. thats definately one of the worst CBM's.

I'd have picked either AngHulk or TDK as worst ever(i.e. - they're not just bad, they're extremely insulting as well) but they aren't on the list.

Of those listed, Steel by far is the worst. It didn't even have TV level production value and it was a theatrical release.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine, FF , Daredevil and GI Joe are not in the same class of awful as these other movies. I actually can watch these more than once. If you watch Steel more than once you need TUMS or Rolaids to stop the stomach pain.

You yourself said GL was a pretty good movie. I'm shocked you put it on this list. But to be honest, if thor and GL's release dates were switched around we would've seen a 40% increase on rotten tomatoes for GL. Trust me on that one. and those 17 ppl who voted for GL have got to have a low IQ or bad taste because seriously...they're sending a message that says, 'oh Steel, Howard, & Hex were better.'
The B+ on yahoo is the right response from the audience for GL. And don't worry about intruder, unlike you and me, the guy favors one side over the other rather than being neutral. I have my doubts he's even seen the flick.

Fanboys are hard to please dude. The bar was set far too high for CBMs this year for em. In my opinion, Green Lantern was fantanstic; a great time at the movies. I believe a lot of haters went in with negative attitudes.
