The first trailer for Run Hide Fight: Infidels has been released, and it finds Loki and Creed III star Jonathan Majors fighting for the American way when radical Islamic terrorists attack a college campus.
The action-packed sneak peek offers a clearer idea of what to expect from the movie, which marks Majors' feature film return after his critically acclaimed performance in Magazine Dreams. Based on what we see here, the actor is well-suited to a high-stakes action role in a project inspired by classics like Red Dawn and Toy Soldiers.
ComicBookMovie.com is also excited to exclusively debut the poster for Run Hide Fight: Infidels, along with a new still from filmmaker Kyle Rankin's follow-up to 2020's Run Hide Fight. Run Hide Fight: Infidels is upping the ante, leaning further into military-inspired action, with Majors' battle-hardened veteran leading the resistance against the heavily armed extremists.
It's now been confirmed that the movie will be released on The Daily Wire on September 16, so expect to hear more about this one in the coming weeks.
"When radical Islamic terrorists hijack a liberal college's pro-Palestine encampment to enforce barbaric Sharia law on students and execute infidels in a makeshift caliphate," reads the synopsis, "a ragtag band of red-blooded students, a security guard tired of 'Uncle Tom' smears, and a Delta Force vet must arm up to save their clueless peers and keep America from surrendering to the enemy on its own soil."
Run Hide Fight: Infidels has attracted attention as Majors' latest starring role following his abrupt departure from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After earning praise for his performance in Magazine Dreams, the actor is now set to showcase a very different side of his talents in what looks to be his biggest action vehicle to date.
Marvel Studios had planned to put Majors front and centre in the Multiverse Saga, with Kang set to headline Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. Instead, the studio has pivoted to Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom. Many fans remain eager to see Majors reprise his role as the time-travelling villain, especially after Michael B. Jordan, Whoopi Goldberg, and Will Smith all vouched for him. Next up for Majors is supernatural revenge thriller Merciless from Martin Villeneuve.
Run Hide Fight: Infidels producer Dallas Sonnier previously described Majors as "a total movie star" and "an amazing actor," adding, "He loved the script, loved shooting the movie, is so great in the film, and he is totally 1,000% behind it."
