Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and the 2010
The Mechanic - has signed on to direct the sequel to last year's
The Expendables. Below is what they have to say...
The sequel has been in development for awhile, and it's about time that a worthy director takes the reigns on this production. In comes Simon West ("The Mechanic") who just signed up to direct "The Expendables 2."
There's no definite word on what "The Expendables 2" will be centering on but principal photography will begin this summertime.
Starring Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Terry Crews, Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren,
The Expendables 2 will hit theaters August 17th, 2012!
