Lucky Daniel Craig will have his hands full not only with Bérénice Marlohe and Naomie Harris in
Skyfall, but also beautiful Greek actress Tonia Sotiropoulou (Τόvια Σωτηροπούλου).
MI6 point out a post on her Facebook page which reads,
""Dear friends I officially announce I got a part in J. Bond new film!!! Turkey here I come! Thank u all for you love and support! This is officially the happiest day of my life bitches!!!!" Her role in the film,
[SPOILER - Highlight Text To Read]will apparently be in the opening sequence (set in Istanbul) where James Bond is smuggled after he is assumed dead. This opening is also said to be reminiscent of the one from You Only Live Twice. [End Spoiler] Pretty intriguing, eh?
She originally auditioned for the role of Sévérine, losing out on that particular role to Marlohe. However, another role was found for her and she will begin filming in Istanbul on April 22nd, shooting two or three scenes over a period of five days. The actress told local press,
"This is the happiest day of my life so far! I feel very lucky and blessed, but basically, I am very grateful that this happened, for my family and my friends who believe in me and support trying to do.
