You don't want to make his list.

Prime Video has released a new trailer for The Terminal List, the streamer's upcoming action-thriller series starring Chris Pratt (Jurassic World: Dominion; Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3) as Commander James Reece, and it's arguably our best look at the show yet.

The original series is based on Jack Carr's best-selling novel of the same name and is set to launch with an eight-episode first season.

The show picks up shortly after Reece's entire Navy SEALs platoon is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Upon returning home to his family, his conflicting memories of the event begin to raise questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence surfaces, he quickly discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life but the lives of those he loves.

In addition to Pratt in the lead role, series regulars include Taylor Kitsch as Ben Edwards, Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Jeanne Tripplehorn as Lorraine Hartley, Riley Keough as Lauren Reece, Patrick Schwarzenegger as Donny Mitchell, and Arlo Mertz as Lucy Reece.

The recurring supporting cast consists of LaMonica Garrett as Commander Fox, Alexis Louder as Nicole Deptul, Tom Amandes as Vic, JD Pardo as Tony Liddel, Christina Vidal Mitchell as Mac Wilson, Jared Shaw as Ernest "Boozer" Vickers, Catherine Dyer as Rachel Campbell, Remi Adeleke as Terrell "Tee" Daniels, Jai Courtney as Steven Horn, Hiram A. Murray as Jackson, and Matthew Rauch as Captain Howard.

The Terminal List starts streaming on July 1.

Based on the best-selling novel by Jack Carr, The Terminal List follows James Reece (Chris Pratt) after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life, but the lives of those he loves.

I can't see this guy's face anymore, he's everywhere and while it doesn't bother me with others he somehow gets to me.
Not his fault by any means but he's been spread too thickly over media lately.

I’m just curious if it’s Pratt or his Agent that’s trying to ruin his career? Doing generic direct to streaming action films when you’re still considered an A-lister? Make it make sense.

At this rate, he will be champing at the bit to have Sly do another Expendables so he can hop on for a career revival.

The action stars of today are a joke when you compare them to the gods of the 80's and 90's. Pitiful lol

@bobevanz - a lot of them just feel too frat bro-y, like pratt. makes sense the biggest action star alive rn is in his 60's 💀

@tmp3 - I'm not sure I get the 'frat bro-y' characterization. If he's anything, Pratt's a redneck that 'cleans up nice.'

@Fogs - Same here. I like this kind of movie/show. My only hesitation is that I am eager to read the book first, but dont have the time!

I hate when you asterisk a cus word. Either allow the word, or don’t use it. Feels like you’re trying to be hip without hurting gods feelings.

I am reading a lot of negativity directed at Chris Pratt here. Not really sure why. Anyway, I have read The Terminal List and into the second novel about James Reese, the character Platt plays. The books are great action thrillers written by ex-Navy Seal Jack Carr who provides great authenticity to the novels with his background. In any event, I am looking forward to series due to enjoying the novels hoping they stay fairly close to the written page. Chris Pratt seems to be a good choice for Reese and keeping an open mind until actually seeing where the series goes.

Pratt is many things. Intimidating isn’t one of them.
