What's with the Superman Returns stars all bunching up for films together? James Marsden and Kate Bosworth in a film together. Brandon Routh and Sam Huntington in a film together.

Weird coincidence...

Looks like a decent film (Specially Skarsgård is going to own) but the original kicks still this ass!
DUSTIN HOFFMAN & SAM PECKINPAH RULES!!:)

marvel72@ thinking the samething? Its going to lose bigtime to the original if they water down the brutality.

BTW wheres the cripple retarded (played by David Warner in the original) who David should be protecting from those Hillbillies?
Now it looks like they are just attacking to the house without any good reason! BOSS: "Hey guys now when we are all drunk lets attack to that piece of shit´s house and kill him and rape his chick just to proof a point that no one messes with us!" GUYS: "Great idea man!"

In the original the reason was much better!;)

@ alexdelarge87

because of that rape scene it was on the banned list for years in the uk,then a few years ago the released it uncut.

the rape scene was controversial because there was moments when she seemed to enjoy it & of course when it turns brutal.

@LEEE- Wait THIS is the article where you said I was bashing Superman Returns?

I didn't bash Superman Returns at all! READ my comment again the very first comment on this article- I DID NO BASHING. I simply stated that it was a weird coincidence that the SR stars were all in films together. What is so mean about that?

God you're dense.

they're changin it up, from what i heard, ESPECIALLY regarding the RAPE SCENE. and just for this, i say what da hell's da point to remaking it???

the original's got it all. it's got Hoffman as the ULTIMATE softy gone hardcore cuz of the ordeal he's going thru. and plus, he LOOKS like he doesn't have a single of TOUGH GUY bone in his body, whereas James Marsden...it's just too obvious he's gonna kick the hillbillie asses in the end.

also with Susan George, there's a sense of her being is she letting em on or isn't she...and with bosworth, from what i see in the trailer, she's just like that girl in the I Spit on Your Grave remake, which is a c**k teaser who's unaware that she's a c**k teaser.

the trailer just shows a straight up thriller/action/revenge movie with nothing really new to offer, which i can wait to watch on dvd.

i gotta say, tho, Kate Bosworth is SMMMMOKINN' H O T... she just gotta get the right agent already to get just the right vehicles for her.
