Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

In other Skyfall news, Alberta Film Ratings has officially classified a brand new IMAX trailer for the film. The trailer should be available in theaters soon. If you can read the below screencap, the trailer is rated PG and has a running time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

Skyfall is set to hit theaters November 9th, later this year.

PPK's back! So glad they got rid of the P99. Bond uses a Walther PPK and has had it since Dr. No.

If this is better than Casino Royal that would be quite impressive.

Coming into the Craig films a few years back as a huge fan, I was apprehensive at best...a Connery man through and through. I was born in '74, and growing up, Bond films were one of the few bonding experiences my father & I had. After hearing him complain every movie about R. Moore...I was so happy when we got a VHS & I got to see the Connery films...Goldfinger became my favorite. A few years later I discovered the books & fell in love again. I almost felt guilty when I saw 'Casino Royale' for the first time. Going in as a Connery fan, I had no intention on changing my mind, but I came out as a Craig fan. Great film, and very accurate portrayal of Fleming's Bond. QOS was great in many ways, but, like we say in the South, it wss "10 lbs of S**t in a 5lb sack". I have high hopes that Mendes will deliver a worthy follow up to CR & give us some more well-known characters & development of the major villains. Skyfall...HELL YEAH

craig's good for me. i love the character... liked half the movies and hated the rest, and never had a preference for one actor over the other because all of them were smarmy, randy cads with none of the ground-in cynicism of the noir character on the page. i wanted an unsmiling bond.

i always thought tim dalton would have been great if he'd had better movies around him, but that if never happened. brosnan was solid but his films, too, turned into cheesy gadgetfests.

craig is playing him as all nerves and sharp edges. this is a hardened, wounded, pitiless machine. if he'd just smoke more and get plastered every night, he'd be perfect.
