DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS' Disney+ Premiere Date May Have Been Revealed DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS' Disney+ Premiere Date May Have Been Revealed

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness arrived in theaters earlier this month, but if you're anxious to watch the movie at home, we may have some very good news to share with you. Read on for details!

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness didn't quite blow the minds of fans in the same manner as last December's Spider-Man: No Way Home, but it was a fun ride and a movie we're excited to take a deep dive into once we're able to watch it at home. There are bound to be lots of Easter Eggs hidden throughout the Multiverse, and we definitely want to take a closer look at The Illuminati.

Today, a premiere date for the movie on Disney+ has been revealed. In a since-deleted Tweet from the streaming service's German account, it's said that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness debuts on June 22 alongside a "making of" special taking us behind the scenes of the blockbuster.

There's always a chance this was a mistake, but we're thinking they jumped the gun here!

"Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a one of a kind blockbuster experience," we said in our recent review of the movie, "and a pure, unadulterated Sam Raimi movie that, while not quite the crazy ride through the Multiverse we expected, delivers a fun, horror-tinged trip."

Hopefully, Disney+ will make this premiere date official soon. In the meantime, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is still playing in theaters and is expected to pass $800 million this weekend.

Bar NWH, i've yet to see a single Phase 4 movie more than once. This i'll rewatch, though, mainly for Raimi's idiosyncrasies

@Cap1 - I’ve only seen NWH once.

Honestly I was very disappointed. The movie was close to bad. Also Raimi is outdated I guess because it felt like I was watching a CBM from the 2000s. Finally the CGI was downright awful. I am not trolling. I expected this movie to be very good but it was a disaster

@Nemesis17then - I can see how people might have been disappointed by the lack of “madness” in this film but people calling it straight up a bad film has me going whaaa?

It’s absolutely better than most of Phase Four (and I film I absolutely enjoyed) with only No Way Home being slightly stronger but even that film has some serious ass issues too.

@TheLobster - Also struggle with the bad movie takes, one of the very few distinct movies within a plethora of indistinct MCU movies

@Nemesis17then - "Also Raimi is outdated"

He is the only reason this "movie" is even watchable.

Decided to go backwards on this one. Since I couldn't avoid them- I watched the spoliers first. I feel like I did the right thing. I'll check out the movie when it goes on demand.

I think on disney+ will be a good chance for this film to be looked at for what it was rather than what the marketing made it out to be.

@DarthOmega - Also known as phase bore.

I only liked Spider-Man:No Way Home and Doctor Strange And The MultiVerse Of Madness are the only movies that have kept me from dozing off.

@marvel72 - I watched NWH again. I literally skipped to the parts that showed the other Spideys, and the classic villains. That's not to diss the actors, who were all fantastic here. Tom Holland and Zendaya are really two great young actors, and I hope to see nothing but success in their future. But honestly the MCU Spider-Man films haven't quite landed for me.

@AnthonyVonGeek - The Disney+ shows have all been let downs honestly. But the Netflix Marvel shows were mostly awesome. I have been re-watching them on Disney+ Daredevil of course was awesome, but I forgot how much I liked Luke Cage.

@DarthOmega - I get that, they are filled with moments but No Way Home for me was a highlight of Phase bore.

@DarthOmega - Phase 4 hasn't had the wow factor that I think Phase 3 had but Shang Chi and Spider-Man No Way Home we're awesome. I feel like Phase 4 isn't cohesive with the narrative it's going with. As crazy as the multiverse concept is, I think Arishem overlooking Earth was a huge game changer for the planet and it's just being ignored...
DarthOmega

@SonOfAGif - Phase 4 has moments. The fighting in Shang Chi was excellent... For the most part. But moments are not enough to make me want to see these movies again. I still go back to the Netflix shows. I still go back to phases 1-3. I have not had any reason to re-watch phase 4 films. I'm glad people liked it though. It's a win for Comic book film fans. I just feel bored overall.

@marvel72 - A lot of people liked NWH. I even liked parts of it. But with every Phase 4 film I have seen in theaters, I find myself bored. I hate to be this guy...

But I have watched the Sonic movies and had a legit better time. Freakin Sonic the damn Hedgehog managed to entertain me more than seeing Celestials.
TheWalkingCuban
TheWalkingCuban - 5/20/2022, 8:52 PM
@DarthOmega - Shang chi was mostly dialogue to which the response was a furrowed eyebrow stare. Him, awkwardfiend, Michelle Yeoh, the sister, even Trevor Schlattery stared at his pillow pet when it played dead. Like, what’s wrong with y’all man

Yessss can't wait. Day 1 rewatch for me. Honestly loved this movie. It was a comic book brought to life. Long live Sam Raimi.
