THE INCREDIBLE HULK Has A New Streaming Home (But It's Still Not Heading To Disney+)

She-Hulk is expected to finally acknowledge the events of The Incredible Hulk in a meaningful way, but the movie still isn't on Disney+. Well, it has a new streaming home, and you can find out more here!

Iron Man launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe in style and The Incredible Hulk followed a few short months later. Unfortunately, the movie didn't receive the same overwhelmingly positive critical and commercial response, making it something of a black sheep in the Marvel Studios family. Not helping matters was the backstage drama that ensued with star Edward Norton.

He'd later walk away from the role, opening the door to Mark Ruffalo taking over as Bruce Banner four years later in The Avengers (becoming an MCU mainstay in the process).

The 2008 blockbuster has rarely been referenced by Marvel Studios, though that does look set to change with She-Hulk. The Disney+ series is going to give The Abomination a lead role for starters, while it's hard to imagine we won't see some discussion about Bruce's origin story considering his cousin, Jennifer Walters, is about to undergo an incredible transformation.

For those of you looking to revisit The Incredible Hulk before She-Hulk launches, you still won't be able to do so on Disney+. Decider reports that the movie is being added to HBO Max on Friday, April 1, and there's currently no indication that it will be added to the MCU lineup on Disney's streaming platform.

It's a weird situation, but one that's tied up in complicated rights issues. Marvel Studios teamed up with Universal Pictures to make the movie, and it's because of that we haven't seen the Jade Giant take centre stage in his own movie since. On the plus side, those of you subscribed to HBO Max for the likes of Zack Snyder's Justice League and Peacemaker now have a Hulk to go with them!
