HOME SWEET HOME ALONE Star Ally Maki Reveals Her Dream Role In Future STAR WARS Movie Or TV Show (Exclusive)

Home Sweet Home Alone hits Disney+ tomorrow, and this fun family flick is definitely worth taking the time to check out if you're a fan of the franchise. We'll be sharing our interviews with director Dan Mazer and the movie's cast soon, but in the meantime, we have some very interesting comments from star Ally Maki.

During the global press conference for the movie, Maki mentioned in passing that she'd love to head to a Galaxy Far, Far Away to be part of a future Star Wars movie or TV show.

When we were able to chat with the actress, we had to ask what role she imagines taking on. A Jedi, perhaps? How about a Sith? Nope. Instead, Maki hopes to don that iconic white uniform as a Stormtrooper! "It’s so hard. I mean, I really loved the Stormtroopers for some reason," she pondered. "I feel like that would be so random [Laughs]"

"I could be part of the Stormtrooper squad, but maybe a good one in the way Finn was. Yeah, I don’t know, maybe a cool Stormtrooper," Maki continued. "That would be cool to see. A cool woman Stormtrooper character…"

Thanks to the Star Wars sequels, we know that there are women beneath those helmets, and after the recent movies so quickly moved away from Finn's time serving the First Order, we'd love to revisit that idea elsewhere. A female Stormtrooper would be particularly cool, and we know the Empire was also home to some badass women (Iden Versio, for example).

Needless to say, we're keeping our fingers crossed for Maki. Watch the full interview below:
