The series premiere of Marvel's Loki, "Glorious Purpose," is now streaming on Disney+, and just like they did with WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, fans have been scouring the episode for Easter eggs. There's already a few doing the rounds online that seem like a bit of a stretch (no, that wasn't Mephisto in the stained glass widow), but there is some compelling evidence to back up a theory put forward by Twitter user @vaneLLoki.

Just after the God of Mischief (Tom Hiddleston) manages to escape Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) and winds up out in the corridor, we see a TVA Agent bring a mysterious figure through a door in the bottom right corner of the screen. It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, but if you take a closer look in the video below, it's hard to argue that it really does appear to be Peggy Carter.

It's highly unlikely that the actress is actually Hayley Atwell, of course, and chances are it's just a fun little nod to the character to get fans talking. We probably won't find out until for sure until after the final episode, but it's safe to say we're all going to be keeping an eye out in case Miss Carter makes another appearance.

Tell us, did you spot this Easter egg when you watched the episode? Do you think it'll lead anywhere? Drop us a comment down below.
