WONDER WOMAN First Reactions Are In - Find Out What Critics Thought Of The Amazon Warrior's First Solo Outing
Though we'll have to wait a while for full reviews, critics and bloggers are now allowed to share their initial reactions to Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman, and... well, you'll find out after the jump!
Star Gal Gadot comes in for the highest praise (how about that?), and her chemistry with Chris Pine's Steve Trevor is said to be a highlight. In fact, many are hailing it as the best DCEU film yet - though some of you probably won't see that as a difficult accomplishment.
We gathered some of the reactions together below, and if they seem a little one-sided that's because we honestly couldn't find any negative early thoughts on this movie. If you do, be sure to let us know.
Wonder Woman is the DC movie I've been waiting for. It's exciting, inspiring, funny, and has some truly awe-inspiring action scenes.— Germain Lussier (@GermainLussier) May 19, 2017
The most wonderful thing about WONDER WOMAN is the wonderful Wonder Woman. Gal IS Wonder Woman. Now then, about WONDER WOMAN— Josh L. Dickey (@JLDlite) May 19, 2017
#WonderWoman is the best DCEU film so far. The heart of Gal Gadot's Diana powers it, and the shift from mythic into WWI story really works.— (((Eric Eisenberg))) (@eeisenberg) May 19, 2017
#WonderWoman is the easily the best DCEU movie so far. It's got heart and a love of heroes. Pine and Gadot are charming beyond measure.— Haleigh Foutch (@HaleighFoutch) May 19, 2017
2. Gal Godot is absolutely phenomenal as #WonderWoman. She KILLS it, just surprisingly good. A truly heroic light DCEU desperately needs.— Alisha Grauso (@AlishaGrauso) May 19, 2017
