Following the exciting announcement of Space Jam 2 a few weeks ago, Warner Bros. has announced another propery they would like to bring back to the big screen - Tom & Jerry. Though details on the project are slim at the moment, the feature will be fast tracked, aiming for a production start date in 2019, and a possible release sometime during the following two years.

Directed by Tim Story, the creative behind the 2005 iteration of the Fantastic Four, the live action hybrid Tom & Jerry adaptation will see the pair very in tune with their roots. Unlike previous iterations on the big screen, the two titular characters will not be seen talking to eachother, instead relying on the physical comedy the property was built on. Variety reports that Warner Bros. will begin paying attention to hybrids similar to the way they focus on DC and the Wizarding World, hoping that audences will be as enamored by the new approach as much as they are.

I'm that one guy you get annoyed with because he talks about movies too much, but I'm also the one guy you love to talk movies with.
