Beware The Batman premieres Saturday, July 13th on Cartoon Network.

A cool, new take on the classic Dark Knight franchise, Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogues gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld led by the likes of Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, this action-packed detective thriller deftly redefines what we have come to know as a “Batman show.” Featuring cutting-edge CGI visuals to match the intricate twists and turns of the narrative, Batman steps out of the shadows and into the spotlight for an entirely new generation of fans. With WBA’s Sam Register executive producing, and Batman Beyond’s Glen Murakami and Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated’s Mitch Watson producing, Beware the Batman, based on characters from DC Comics, is coming soon to Cartoon Network!

Ex-secret agent Alfred? I don't think that's accurate. Was Alfred a secret agent?

Ugg. I don't know about this. And why does Batman face have the same shape as the actress who's going to play Yukio in the Wolverine?

Wow, I actually dig it. The animation looks great - despite some bland environmental designs - and Batman looks awesome, even when he's fighting Lady Gaga. Alfred and Bruce look cool, and the logo is a good homage to the classic one. Looking forward to more of this.

Ok, let me school everyone. The Animation is great. Animation is where they move the characters around, it is a verb. That means they ,move smoothly and it isnt stiff. This looks very Lucit and cool. HGowever, The ART is what you should think is bad. The art is kinda meh. I wish they would quit doing CG cartoons. I know its cheaper to do action cartoons in CG, but still. I miss like legit hand drawn animation. :( We dont have it in movies anymore. Last one i remember was the Princess and the Frog movie.

I do not care much for the visual style.
BIGBMH

With that style, it wouldn't be too difficult to make it a part of the same universe as GLTAS.

I really don't care for this kind of animation.

Meh Doesn't look too interesting to me. The 80-90's were the best periods for cartoons. G1 Transformers, Thundercats, GI Joe, Spiderman (TAS), Batman (TAS), X-Men.... now those were great cartoons. Beautifully drawn, animated, and executed great stories. I can't really get into these new CGI shows. Although DC's animated movies are a must have.

It might be interesting, I'll check it out, but I'm definitely not expecting anything half as good as the TAS, but I'm still gonna watch, and hope it's not shitty. Maybe it will surprise us (not counting on it though).

I have always watched all previous batman series, but this one...i think is not for me, maybe it is cuz the cgi and modeling is kind of what dreamworks do with their animated series and i was hoping a lot more like The Clone Wars type, a little more in depth stuff...

It could be cool Green Lantern TAS' promo looked pretty unimpressive but it was one of the best DC animated shows. But this is more like a reel not a teaser commercial.

Actually cgi animation is more expensive than hand drawn. This is the way animation is going because today's kids don't respond as well to the 2D art like we did growing up. They like the Shrek looking stuff.

FanofSteel - hahaha I hate when people confuse those two as well. You can have FANTASTIC animation with crappy art or you can have HORRIBLE animation with beautiful art. (hopefully fantastic animation with beautiful art)
