An international trailer for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part has been released online, and it contains quite a bit of new footage from the upcoming animated sequel.

We get to see more of the DUPLO invaders, new villain Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi (Tiffany Haddish), and the brilliantly names Rex Dangervest (Chris Pratt). Plus, right at the end we see the return of Green Lantern (Jonah Hill), who is still trying to get his DC superhero pals to take him seriously.

Check out the new trailer below along with a recent batch of character posters, and let us know if you're looking forward to another adventure with the fine folks of Bricksburg in the comments.

Chris Pratt returns as our plucky, but not-too-bright hero Emmet.

He'll be joined by the far more capable Lucy, aka Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks).

This is DUPLO leader General Mayhem, who'll be voiced by Brooklyn Nine-Nice actress Stephanie Beatriz.

Unikitty is no more! Say hello to the mighty Ultrakatty (Alison Brie).

Will Arnett is also back as the one-and-only Dark Knight, and he's not messing around with that new outfit!

We still don't know very much about this character, but here's out first look at Tiffany Haddish's Queen Watevra Wa’nabi.

Chris Pratt (again) is Rex Dangervest, who may have the greatest name in the history of everything.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part” reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city. It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild.

The battle to defeat them and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman and their friends to faraway, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and reveal just how special they really are.

The LEGO Movie sequel is set to hit theaters on February 8, 2019

I’m surprised the LEGO Batman movie didn’t see as much success

It's funny how Aquaman is cool and accepted now and Green Lantern is becoming the butt of the jokes. Oh how the turn tables...

@MCUKnight11 - Ooooh nice. Love his stuff for Creed and Black Panther. Though it seems his score for Venom was extremely forgettable.

I'm sure he'll deliver. He reminds of John Williams in some ways.

@DnA - Yeah. Wakanda, Kings Sunset, especially Killmonger's theme (a.k.a my ringtone). So many good scores to choose from. That's quite a get for a tv series. Especially with directors and cast that are already great gets.

Oh man do I look forward to this. Although not directed by either of them, after Into the Spider-Verse I think anything with Lord & Miller's name on it is great (#releasethelord&millercut?)

@Chewtoy - A shame that WB are the ones who [frick]ed up the character and instead of trying to do him justice, they just cash in on making fun of him.
