This Sunday's episode of The Simpsons is titled "Bart the Bad Guy," and will focus on Bart using plot spoilers for a superhero movie he managed to see a month before its release to blackmail the film’s executives, who will be voiced by Avengers directors Joe and Anthony Russo.

Fox has now released an official poster for the ep, which is inspired by the theatrical one-sheet for Avengers: Infinity War. In addition to the core Simpsons family members, the image features the likes of whale-guy, tree-girl (not their actual names... probably!), and a couple of characters clearly based on Iron Man and Thanos.

Check out the poster along with some promotional images for the episode, and let us know what you think. Do you still watch The Simpsons on a regular basis? Will you be tuning in on March 1st? Drop us a comment in the usual place.

This show's all the proof you need that it's better to end a show while you're ahead instead of letting it live on until it's a limping corpse of its former self

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Does the poster say Kevin Feige is voicing "Chinos"?

@Skestra - Nevermind. I guess he's supplying a voice as well according to one of the article links below. That answers my question. *lol*

@Skestra - I figured Chinos would have the voice of Sideshow Mel, oh well.

I love Simpsons, but modern Simpsons is not equipped to tell a story like this. It'll be nothing but pop culture references and no jokes.

The Simpsons is the last & only remaining great tradition animation on TV that’s still on going and the traditional animation you see on TV today is crap

New Simpsons still miles better than any era of Family Guy.

Watching old classic Simpsons on Disney+ lately, it was indeed very funny until about the late 90's. Latter day Simpsons should not be allowed to tarnish a great thing.

I've seen them all, I'm in it to the end. Maybe things might change next season, well after the first 4 or so because those are usually leftovers from the previous. Come on disney say something lol

That poster is actually a mixture of at least Avengers:Infinity War, Suicide Squad, and Justice League. The bat people in the top left corner appear to be based on the Parademons from Justice League and the Aztec looking guy in the bottom left looks similar to the Incubus in Suicide Squad.

And the whale man smacks of King Shark from Suicide Squad 2.

Looks pretty cool, I have to check it out for once. Haven't enjoyed Simpsons in years unfortunately, but will give it a chance for this gimmicks.
