At Animagic in berlin today they had a very special guest they had producer geroge wada and very soon questions were being asked about a sequel to last year's hit show and wada didn't beat around the bush he said that " season 2 is in pre-production"which of course was met with a huge applause from the fans in attendence.Wada didn't give away any details like when the show will air or any plot details but if your a fan of attack on titan then this is good news either way.

Nice - I finished watching S1 with some friends not too long ago, we loved the show! S2 should be glorious. :D

Also saying "animes suck" is close to saying "movies suck" or "comics suck". It's fascinating how often I hear stuff like that. (O_o)'

Still only watched the first 13 episodes (which were awesome). Gotta mentally prepare myself for the rest though.

There will be two animated movies as well. Wit Studio has done a bang up job with the animation, and I can't wait for Season 2.
Nevermind what MrFridayNights says, Anime series are the best in the world (though there's some crap anime, too). Nothing even comes close.

Damn, they don't even have enough chapters if they're going to go at the same pace as the first season. I mean they can make filler episodes, but damn are those boring. Also how are they going to continue the series when the butchered the last episode?

I started watching this series around 7 P.M.. At 3 A.M. I was still watching. I was so angry when I just couldn't stay awake for the last five episodes. Watched it in a heartbeat the very next day. All I could say after I finished was: what next? Will I find another anime as good as this? I tried Claymore next. Good anime, but miles behind AoT. I don't think there will be another anime as good as this for a while. And having said that, I'm afraid that season 2 will not live up to expectations.

Love the show, started reading the Manga. The Manga drags on with hints on where the Titans come from. I wish they just reveal what's in Erins basement.

I love all the politics in the manga. You never know who the damn enemy is because of all the back stabing and twists.

Still on Season one, but it's good to hear that season 2 is on track to be released next year. I wouldn't mind a game in the meantime though!

but if you're looking for a good anime to watch i suggest Evangelion including the films.
