Dan Green and Eric Stuart Confirmed To Reprise Yugi and Kaiba roles in Yu-Gi-Oh Darkside Of Dimensions. New Trailer Released.

People have been unsure for a long time now whether or not the voice cast from the 4kids Dub of the original Yu-Gi-Oh anime would reprise their roles. Well now thanks to a new trailer released by 4kMedia we now know that at the very least the voice actors for Yugi and Kaiba will be returning.

When the announcement of Yu=Gi-Oh The Darkside Of Dimensions was made fans were clamoring to find out if Dan Green and Eric Stuart would reprise their roles from the Yu-Gi-Oh series. With months upon months of no news of a cast lists fans were starting to get worried that a new cast would take on the roles. However now it has finally been officially confirmed that they will return to arguablly their most famous voice roles. 

The official announcement was made via the Yu-Gi-Oh facebook page which had this to say.

Yu-Gi-Oh! fans rejoice! Dan Green and Eric Stuart are reprising their roles as the voices of Yugi Muto, and Seto Kaiba, respectively, in the highly anticipated North American feature film release of Yu-Gi-Oh! THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONS.


A new trailer was released as well,  which you can watch below, the trailer itself is pretty much the same as the last English trailer released, but hearing those iconic voices again has brought tears to a lot of hardcores fans eyes, myself included.

I do like the small touch of Yugi sounding a little bit older than he did in the original. With this being 6 months later and him about to graduate he would sound a bit older than before.

@Himura - A) the time since the end of the show could be even longer in the english dub to explain the deeper voice.

B) He hasn't fully matured his voice, you can hear it still seems like it;'s going through puberty but he's closer to his voice fully maturing than he was at the end of the show.
