I watched DBZ once in the early 90's. Nothing since.

Indeed. The dude destroyed half a planet by tapping a table! Hopefully the series keeps getting better as it goes along! :)

Saw the movie and was pleasantly surprised! I hadn't watched Dragon Ball Z in around 12 years, and had forgotten how humourous it was. Bringing Frieza back helped to draw me in, and I was actually happy with the change in voice actor.

I've started watching the Buu saga from the original series (Kai's Buu saga was never dubbed); it was the one saga I never watched.

@Platinum: Oh, my ears! That terrible, TERRIBLE, soundtrack. Where's Bruce Faulconer when you need him?

@Platinum: Fulconer's score is the reason why DBZ is so popular in the U.S. (dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Bruce_Faulconer) The show is literally unwatchable without it.
