Is it me, or is that the same armor that's being used in GI Joe...?

He is going to be green. this is just to give the actors a visualization of his skin so they have an idea of what he'll look like. if you look at the photo of him sticking out his arm from a few months ago, you'll see this skin color. but if you look at the same photo in all the sticker books and new promo shots, you'll see he's greener. i guess they're filling it in w/ CGI

ok 1st off i hate this movie and never wanted it to be made - it should bomb just to make sure there wont be a sequel. I love dragon ball / dragon ball z but if your are going to go this far from the source it's pointless to make the stupid movie...

ok now goku is not asian...he is a saiyan so him being white is not a big issus but piccolo being this lite green is not right. He needs to be hulk green...HULK GREEN...roshi needs to be bald and with a beard...how could the screw that up (chow yung fat looked just like roshi in priates: at worlds end)

Last, gokuu did in fact turn into an ape mulitple times in dragon ball -only twice i believe - never while fighting piccolo mind you but he did turn into an ape - he better have a tail in the movie IF he does turn into an ape - but so far it doesnt look like he has a tail which is one more reason for this dragon ball fan to hate this movie........

Captain America My mistake was talking about dragon ball z when this film is dragon ball. Secondly this film is still going to be terrible. Even in the trailer they show one of bulma's capsul for the cycle when the main focus even in the trailer should be how they were able to capture the type of fighting style of dragon ball is in a live action film. I'll assume i'm just like most fans knowing most of dbz and not the crap of dragon ball, seeing kid goku run from dinosaurs and battle frankenstein monsters wasn't my cup of tea.

Who can say if Guko is white or chinese. Would you call Superman white? Lightning lad, saturn girl, cosmic kid all say their aliens but look white. If dragon ball Z was an anime that was made in japan and took place in a japenese setting, wouldn't that make him Japenese?

I can't wait for this movie! I hope James does a great performance...which I think he will. And for the whole gray and green thing, I just think that when he is unsealed that he will have aged and his skin lost pigmentation(like in the show) and then he gets the dragonballs to wish for youth...I don't know for sure just taking a shot in the dark

I think the movie will at least be entertaining with good fights. I can't tell by the previews how good the acting or writing is. Honestly, it can't possibly be worse than DOA: Dead or Alive and that at least pulled off entertaining...

If they make it exactly like the manga(or anime) then it would the same damn thing that we've seen many many times. I want something different for Dragonball, and I think this is a good direction for it. I don't agree with everything though. For instance: Goku being in High School...that's just dumb. I don't like Yamcha's look either, but I think this movie is going to be good. By the looks it's going to be amazing.

Man it's so funny seeing some of you complain and don't know your stuff. Shut up already, like it or not, this anime is known world wide, of course this isn't going to BOMB.

I don't completely agree that anime can't be transitioned well into Motion Picture Films, I do believe some have much more potential to turn out well than others. But there are reason's that video games, anime, and certain comic-book movies have bitten the bullet when brought to the big screen and there are simple solutions, STICK to the ORIGINAL STORY and MATERIAL! What 20th century fox appear's to be doing is trying to make a quick and simple buck with a legendary and beloved story when it can be so much more if they just stick to the original material. I personally believe that the Dragonball universe has potential to be a dominant franchise in the Movie Industry for a LONG time if done right. And I also believe that this movie will delay that potential. Reboot coming soon.

Thats just nitpicking. Are you guys telling me that if you were able to make a semi-big budget DB/DBZ/DBGT movie you wouldn't change anything? Nothing at all? I luv DBZ, but I'll tell you this, I didn't watch it for the story. There was nothing great about it. The creator said it himself. The whole story was either an excuse to fight or introduce a new fighter. The world itself was nothing more than a place to fight, there was nothing to it. I know i've defended this movie a lot, but lets just call it what it is. We all know it whether we think it looks good or not, THIS IS A VERY CRAPPY ADAPTATION OF DB/DBZ/DBGT! I admit that, though I think it looks good nontheless. How well a movie sticks to the source material has NOTHING at all to do with how good it is. There were some good ones that did and that didn't. And this movie definitely didn't... not even close. But at the same time, The color of Bulma's hair or how green Picollo's pigment is, is just nitpicking. They are making a live action adaptation if something that was never meant to be 3D, much less resemble anything or anyone in the real world.

i agree with MoonDoggyX but i see were SoulofDaimao is comeing from. there are some negatives and positevs with everything though- have any u guys seen the movie yet?
