In just over a month, Rupert Sanders' live-action interpretation of Ghost in The Shell will hit theaters, and Paramount has debuted a couple of very nice new IMAX posters for the film.

The first recalls a moment from the first trailer in which The Major (Scarlett Johansson) crashes through a window to take out some bad guys, and the second is a close-up shot of the mysterious Robo Geisha that was featured heavily in the early marketing for the movie.

Tell us, are you looking forward to this, or are you perfectly happy with the anime? Let us know in the comments section.

Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, “GHOST IN THE SHELL” follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.

Rupert Sanders is at the helm of Ghost in the Shell, which also stars Michael Pitt, Juliette Binoche, “Beat” Takeshi Kitano, Michael Wincott, and Pilou Asbæk, and is set for release on March 31, 2017.

A bit apprehensive about this but looks interesting.
The trailer was visually stunning so look forward to that but probably won't see it in the cinema.

Watched Deepwater Horizon and Passengers over the last couple of days. THought DH was good and Passengers wasn't that bad but a tad generic.

@NateBest - right there with ya. My main worry is them focusing too much on the major's past, something they barely went into in the anime.

I've said before I really do not like anime in general, just not my thing. However, i've seen the original Ghost in the Shell and it was truly awesome and i'm very excited for this.

@Menks123 - I've seen Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Black Lagoon & Hellsing. They are awesome. I don't like anime for kids.

@IcemanX - Yeah there are definitely some that look legit and i'll end up watching, especially Akira, i've heard great things about it. Just couldn't get into the majority of it, maybe it's the style or something.

I'm a huge fan of GITS, wasn't to happy with their choice for the Major but I'll give it a chance.
