The Wall Street Journal's Speakeasy blog has got a first look picture of Korra in the new The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra thats to air on children's channel Nickelodeon.


Korra is the heroine of this new animated fantasy series.

I'm sure the biggest question is, will any of the original characters be in it?...no doubt they will be much much older of course.....she may be related to Ang and Katara some how

wow, dangit. did it have to be 70 years in the future?how bout like 15 or 20. kitara would have been pretty hot. as lame and creepy as that sounds.

Angs married katara and lasted 70 years as a Avatar then?interesting,but they need to conect this new series with a lot more then just having Aangs son on it.
i want to know what happen with the fire nation under zukkos reign,what happened with sokka and tuff.
well since still the original team who did Avatar doing this spin off.they will tell us those stories.

This is sort of like Nickelodeon's way of saying "sorry about that M Night Shyamalan movie"

I'm looking forward to it. Anyone that hasn't seen Aang's story, I implore you to watch every episode before this new series starts
