Avengers: Doomsday: Doctor Doom Hot Toys Figure Reveals Best Look Yet At Costume, Powers, And Throne

Hot Toys has unveiled its first wave of 1/6th-scale figures based on Avengers: Doomsday, and we're kicking things off with Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.). There will be two versions, starting with a standard "Early Access" version of the Multiverse Saga's new big bad.

Light on accessories, it brings the MCU's Victor Von Doom to life in convincing fashion, though die-hard Doom fans may want to wait for the "Ultimate" edition.

That comes with a Sentinel hand to pose him on, along with additional accessories like a book ("inspired by concept art," it looks very similar to the Darkhold) and another, presumably spoilery, add-on that's yet to be revealed.

Finally, for completionists, Hot Toys will also be selling Doctor Doom's throne. A must-buy for anyone who wants to have the villain posing on it, it looks a little different from what we expected, but is still suitably regal.

"Intellectuals understand that we’re all responsible for ourselves," Mister Fantastic actor Pedro Pascal recently told Entertainment Weekly about Reed Richards' relationship with Doom. "The world that we’re in, and the way that I understand it through Reed, at least, is very singular to the relationship that I have to Doom."

"And I guess there is a big barrier between the context that we all have as audience members to the experience of Avengers, and the incredible way that all of it is threaded together as we have X-Men sitting with us in this group," he added. "It’s very easy for me to be single-focused through the perspective of the character as it relates to somebody like Victor Von Doom."

Based on this and other recently revealed merchandise, Doctor Doom will wield green energy blasts in the MCU, not unlike those used by Loki and Sylvie in the Loki TV series. A master of magic and science, Victor is clearly formidable.

Check out all these new Doctor Doom Hot Toys figures for Avengers: Doomsday in the Instagram galleries below. We've also included the official product descriptions.

Meticulously crafted based on Doctor Doom’s imposing appearance in Avengers: Doomsday, this figure features a newly developed masked head equipped with separated rolling eyeballs, allowing collectors to adjust his intimidating gaze. His signature armored suit is realized with incredible precision, featuring silver-colored armor pieces over a finely tailored dark green undersuit and a tunic with square grid textured patterns. His majestic dark green hooded cloak features bendable wire for dynamic posing, enhanced by magnetically detachable clasps and a metal material chain.

Ready to unleash devastating magic, Doom comes with an array of interchangeable hands, including a specialized pair of translucent green with black krackle mystic power effect hands. Accessories include a concept-art-inspired magical book, translucent green flame effects that are attachable to his hands, and a specially designed display stand. Furthermore, a Special Edition available in selected markets will include a commemorative life-size metal ring as a bonus accessory.

Elevating your Marvel display, this ultimate release is highlighted by an awe-inspiring Sentinel’s hand-themed diorama base that perfectly illustrates Doom’s devastating triumph. Furthermore, this release contains a mystery accessory that will be a jaw-dropping surprise for the most dedicated fans.

Masterfully crafted based on his on-screen presence in Avengers: Doomsday, this figure features a newly crafted masked head with separate rolling eyeballs to capture his piercing glare. The craftsmanship extends to his multilayered armored suit, featuring silver-colored armor pieces over a tailored dark green undersuit and a tunic with square grid textured patterns. His iconic dark green hooded cloak is embedded with bendable wire for dynamic posing, enhanced by magnetically detachable clasps and a metal material chain.

To channel his mystical powers, Doom includes an array of interchangeable hands, including a specialized pair of translucent green with black krackle mystic power effect hands. The set is further enriched by a concept-art-inspired magical book and translucent green flame effects that are attachable to his hands. Exclusively bringing this piece to life is an LED-lighted diorama figure base that reassembles Sentinel’s hand. Additionally, a Special Edition available in selected markets will include a Commemorative Life-Size Metal Ring as a bonus.

To perfectly complement the 1/6th scale Doctor Doom Collectible Figure, Hot Toys is thrilled to present the 1/6th scale Doom’s Throne Collectible! This masterfully crafted collectible accurately recreates the breathtaking architectural design of Doom’s throne as seen in Avengers: Doomsday. Measuring an impressive 33cm tall and 43.5cm wide, this massive piece commands attention. The throne’s brutalist yet elegant design features a towering backrest, a sweeping wide wing base, and cantilevered armrests, perfectly echoing the sovereign’s intimidating aura.

Constructed from vinyl material, the throne boasts a highly realistic stone grain texture that gives it an ancient, monumental weight. Striking a beautiful contrast against the stone finish are finely sculpted and painted gold-colored geometric runic details, hinting at the potent mystic energies at Doom’s command. The throne is complemented by a backdrop that showcases agreen stained glass-themed design, transforming your display into a truly immersive throne room diorama.

Doom looks great.

Shitty design on the throne, tho. So generic.

Needs more armor, what’s the point of just having armor for your knee and shins, and your forearms?!?!

They actually got the look and feel of DOOM correct for once.

It's just lame AF it's not Mads Mikkelsen or someone OTHER than RJD.

Although, it's kinda poetic RJD v Pedro Pascal as THE greatest Marvel Rivalry of All Time feeling like an overexposed cop out.
