With just over two months until Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters, now feels like a good time for Marvel Studios to start hinting at some of the movie's surprises.

We've seen a lot of the main cast in promotional material. However, after Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts*, and, to a lesser extent, The Fantastic Four: First Steps failed to make a huge impact at the box office, shifting the spotlight to a few heavy-hitters wouldn't be a bad thing.

There have been rumours for a while now about Avengers: Doomsday opening with an Incursion that pits the X-Men against Tobey Maguire Spider-Man. Kicking things off with a scene that pits Deadpool and Wolverine against the original big-screen Peter Parker is an exciting prospect, even if the Merc with the Mouth is the only one expected to make it back for the battle with the Sentinels at the X-Mansion.

Now, we have a possible first look at Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, and Tobey Maguire suited up on set alongside Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. If real, this is one heck of a leak, and a sight we could have never imagined even a few short years ago.

Reynolds and Jackman have repeatedly teased their respective MCU returns in the next Avengers movies. Meanwhile, one more Spider-Men reunion for Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland seems inevitable before the Multiverse Saga ends.

The photo shows the foursome standing amid the type of destruction we'd expect from an Incursion, and killing off Spider-Man and Wolverine in the first 10 minutes would undoubtedly set the tone and seriousness of what's happening to the Multiverse. Many fans won't be happy, but whatever happens, we're sure they'll be back in Avengers: Secret Wars.

Check out this possible Avengers: Doomsday leak in the X post below.

In Avengers: Doomsday, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.

Avengers: Doomsday stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Winston Duke, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, and Robert Downey Jr. Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Mabel Cadena, Florence Pugh, Danny Ramirez, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, India Rose Hemsworth, and Wesley Holloway all make their Avengers franchise debuts.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps leads Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn join them, along with X-Men franchise stars Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, and James Marsden, plus Deadpool & Wolverine star Channing Tatum.

The Russo Brothers direct Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely, with whom they previously collaborated on the Avengers and Captain America franchises. Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness writer Michael Waldron has also been enlisted to refine the story, alongside Spider-Man: Brand New Day's Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18.

i really don't understand the necessity of a CGI suit. maybe it streamlines the post process that they would do anyway with a real suit (smoothing out crumples & imperfections in the material) but i would have rathered they avoid it.

it makes the actor look like a cartoon even when the artists spend a crap ton of time on it, which on this project is probably already limited.

@themawisdead - It's not "a necessity". Often times, these suits are constrictive, heavy, or even clostrophobic to the actors. They would prefer to have the actual actor on set and able to give a more natural performance. It also allows the directors or VFX people to make changes much easier in post. Remember, if they have to smooth out wrinkles or fix any damage to a practical suit, done on set, they have to animate that each shot individually. With the CG suit, they build the 3 dimensional asset (like a skin you would buy in a video game) and then use the tracking marks on the actor to just lay it over. Using whatever physics simulator, to match movement or whatever. Besides, VFX crews usually end up having to build those assets anyway, for the inevitible shots they need to do digitally. Sometimes it works well, sometimes it doesn't.

I remember that photo taken by DeGenres, that was around the time Ricky called them all out for being besties with Epstein. Weird how humans brush off elites raping, sacrificing and eating babies.

99% of the people who see these movies in theaters know nothing about these millions of leaks rumors and scoops. There's no way these articles drive outside traffic that'd have any value whatsoever. I'm convinced you pay for all these patreon subs and you want your ROI lol
