AVENGERS 4 Reshoots To Take Place This Summer; SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Sequel Wraps In December

Some updates about the production schedules for both Avengers 4 and the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel have surfaced today and it seems we could start seeing much more from them both very, very soon...

Marvel Studios may be keeping its Phase 4 plans under wraps but we know that they remain hard at work on a number of projects, including Avengers 4, Captain Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel. Today, we have some possible updates on two of those which point to us finally learning a whole lot more about each of them in the not too distant future.

Apparently, Avengers 4 reshoots are scheduled to take place this summer and will last until September. That lines up from various remarks from cast members and depending on where these take place, there's a very good chance that set photos could shed some light on where the Russos are going.

The untitled Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel is also expected to start shooting over the summer and that will reportedly wrap production by December. That gives Marvel plenty of time to finish it off in time for that July 2019 release date and could mean that we'll see lots of set photos and plot leaks as the year progresses, including a first look at Jake Gyllenhaal suited up as Mysterio if we're lucky!

Is it weird that I care more about Guardians than the MCU version of Spider-Man?

@Kevwebsz - As someone who is really excited for the next Spider-Man...no it isn't weird, because the Guardian films have been consistently very good and unique.

So the Russos read a theory online of which they thought was better than their own draft, they decided to reshoot it

Why are articles still goingvon like Jake Gylunwhatsit IS Mysterio? Excuse me if I'm wrong but I've only seen an article saying he was "rumoured" to be in talks for the role?

I wish Spiderman Homecoming sequel had started shooting earlier, it just doesn't seem like a lot of time for post production for me. One of the things I really would like them to impove from the fist one is the CGI, I think it can be better, and with such little time to work on it Im not sure it can be great.

@ROFERG - 12 months is standard for the MCU. I'm with you there, fingers crossed!
