Marvel has today released the first posters for 2016's Avengers Assemble and Ultimate Spider-Man TV shows on Disney XD. They offer up a look at the redesigned characters (including a pretty different Sinister Six) and give us an idea as to what we should expect. Here are the synopses:

In season four of "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man vs. The Sinister 6," a confident Spider-Man feels like the ultimate hero after fighting alongside The Avengers and leading a team of heroes at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy. However, when the wall-crawler discovers that his greatest enemies -- Doctor Octopus, Hydra and the all-new Sinister 6 -- are working together to destroy him and S.H.I.E.L.D., he teams up with a special new team of Spiders, including Miles Morales, Agent Venom, Iron Spider and the mysterious new Scarlet Spider. Spider-Man and his new friends will need to use all of their power to overcome their greatest challenge yet.

Avengers: Ultron Revolution meanwhile appears to be borrowing a lot from their upcoming Phase 3 slate as the likes of Baron Zemo, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel make their presence felt. It also appears as if the Kamala Khan version of Ms. Marvel will be making her animated debut here too.

In season three of “Marvel’s Avengers: Ultron Revolution,” the Avengers are not only shocked by the return of a vengeful Ultron, but they also encounter new threats like Baron Zemo, the Masters of Evil, the Inhumans, and the futuristic Kang the Conqueror. It’s only with the help of heroes like Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man and Ms. Marvel that they have a chance of surviving an all-out Marvel super hero Civil War.

Avengers: Ultron Revolution, just the next step in Avengers Assemble.

Still haven't seen one episode of Avengers Assemble that was of the same quality as Avengers: EMH.

The only one that was the best was The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes

This is where we should start a campaign for a third season of EMH.

Why hasn't the Marvel animation department tried to hire the crew behind 'Young Justice' for one of their Marvel shows?

That'd be amazing.

ohh c'mon, one thing is mixing different incarnations of the characters (like Avengers EMH did), other thing is just copying what the movies do, except with 80% less effort. and what's the point of having an animated version of the movies when we have, you know, the f*cking movies.

Why does falcon look so bad??? But it's clearly pandering to the films just look at caps costume! And spiderman has fought the sinister six MULTIPLE times in that show so I don't see why the title change was necessary

Screw this shit. Marvel knows better than this. I thought Steve Wacker, a former EDITOR of the Spider-Man and Daredevil COMICS, would knock some sense into these guys.

However, it seems like the higher-ups (Loeb & Co.) want to keep these shitty kiddy toy-commercial shows.

I am getting tired of this repetitive rant subject.

I personally don't think the designs look as bad as you guys make it seem. Falcon kinda like a Gatchaman though lol

Does anyone foresee these stories crossing over with the MCU?
That was already rumored months ago.
I could see Spidey coming to the Avengers in animation and MCU, building his confidence and encountering the Sinister Six in animation and MCU.

Can we just cut and paste this comments section exactly one year from now when they announce the next seasons of these shows?

I'm pretty sure the exact same comments were made last year.
At least you guys are consistent.

I haven't seen any cartoons in ages, though.

Falcon is such a useless character on any team that Tony is on, its just ridiculous. I enjoy both of these shows, although I enjoyed spectacular and EMH more, these shows still have some cool stuff in them. Thor and Hulk's relationship is hilarious.
