GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY's Chris Pratt To Appear In THE AVENGERS 3?
Will Peter Quill aka Star-Lord join Earth's Mightiest Heroes in the third installment of The Avengers franchise? Mario-Francisco Robles of Latino Review seems to think so. Read on for further details.
Oh how we will continue to listen to these folks. While covering JoBlo's Guardians of the Galaxy sequel rumors, Mario-Francisco Robles had a pretty interesting tidbit to add.
"Marvel’s high ambitions for the project don’t surprise me, though, since this jives with what a source of mine told me last month. Which was that Marvel fully intends for, at the very least, Chris Pratt's Star-Lord to be in Avengers 3, which likely wouldn't come out until 2018. So it makes sense that they’re going to continue to promote and expand these characters for the next few years."
Pratt himself has acknowledged the possibility of a crossover between his ragtag-group of misfits and Earth's Mightiest Heroes in the past. What's interesting to note is that with the rumor that Guardians of the Galaxy may possibly get a sequel in Phase Three, it seems to fit in with what Marvel seemingly has planned for The Avengers 3; bring Thanos into the fold. Some fans have questioned why Guardians of the Galaxy was placed in Phase Two since Marvel decided to pit The Avengers against Ultron in the sequel, leaving the Mad Titan for the big finale. Perhaps they've had plans for the first and second film all along? What do you guys think?
