Iron Man And His Amazing Friends Explanation

I'm here to give one possible explanation to why the upcoming Avengers movie seems to focus on Iron Man too much

The Avengers looks great right? Even as an admitted nolanite I say hell [frick]in yeah. Although people are complaining that it seems to focus too much on iron man. I would agree to an extent, even in the poster above it looks like Iron Man is the main focus and not who it should be Cap, but Joss Whedon already said the movie will focus on cap, but why does it seem like an Iron Man movie from the trailers. Here's why Iron Man is the secong top grossing marvel superhero behind Spiderman and putting him in the trailers will get the general audience to go because most of them aren't familiar with The Avengers. I believe that the main focus won't turn out to be on Iron Man but he would play as a comic relef character the Michelangelo of The Avengers if you will. putting the focus on Iron Man would not be a smart move on Marvel's part because they were building up for this movie since 2008 and not giving each and every one of the characters their fair share of screen time would be wasted money in making everyone else's movie. The only character that would possibly be shafted is Hulk for obvious reasons, thats probably why they haven't made an Incredible Hulk sequel yet!! In conclusion the focus on iron Man in the trailers is all part of a mere advertisement strategy.

I don't care if they focus on one character a little bit more than the others as long as Thor and Hulk are the most powerfull by far.

commas, colons, and semicolons make it much easier to interpret what you are saying.

Use punctuation when you make an article. Also, this is super-short. You should of made this, at least, four paragraphs long. Expand upon what you have, next time.

Robert Downey Jr. is a better, more popular actor than Chris Evans. Ironman has had two films, and the most financial success. Not to mention, Ironman was the original leader of the Avengers, in the comics. Maybey, their just showing Ironman more because he is the leader.

Feige already confirmed its mainly from Captain America's perspective. Iron Man is focused on a lot in the advertisements for marketing purposes.

Deductive reasoning - who knew?!

There's another reason that no one wants to mention (myself included) as for why Iron Man is getting the spotlight on the promotion (and possibly more screen time than most characters)....

Robert Downey Jr isn't going to be Tony Stark forever.

It's not just a contractual agreement - it's that the actor is 46 and isn't getting younger. I'm not saying he's aging rapidly and looks too old to play Tony, but check out his hair.

It is not just the lighting, he has gray, and although he may be wearing hair extensions and could have had all of it dyed if the powers that be wanted it... it wouldn't look as natural.

Robert Downey Jr is probably the best thing that happened to Marvel. They know this. Sooner or later he will want an increase in pay to keep him - every actor/actress does this, especially in television.

They are making the most of it.

lol ok I need to straighten something out that im sure has been already said. I love cap, so dont take this as cap hate but for god sakes people cap was not the original leader of the Avengers. It was and always will be Iron man as the first leader. It even was that way in the Earths Mightest Heroes cartoon. Iron man led the team til they thawed cap out. Been reading Iron man comics since my mom brought me home a huge box full of them from a thrift store when I was 8. He is my favorite character, my second favorite is hawkeye. This movie is going to be the nerdgasm of all nerdgasms. I cant wait.

I love how you had to mention that you are a Nolanite. Do we really need to know that? All you are saying by typing that is that you have a bias on some small level.

Love Iron Man love C.A TFA. but we all have to admit, between Iron Man and Caps style and 1st movies I.M would be the most able to Identify with. Now Im speaking general audience of course many of who dont know much of C.A besides the TFA. Yes Robert Downey Jr is more marketable more notable to general audience moviegoer. So even if he isnt the leader by the end of the movie he is for now the main man..the glue so to speak..I can dig it I see where marvel is going with this..So just for a second take yourself out of a Marvel comic fan boys shoes and try to see things as a fresh newbie to the scene. Trust Marvel has this on lock so no character will be overshadowed by the next one. If you ask me I think Marvel right on point. I would love to see a movie trailer just for those who know little of Avengers. Marvel Avengers FTW.

i admit i didn't read the article, but if it doesn't say "because ironman is the most popular" then you are wrong....because he is.....and so he'll have the lead......even that should be for Evans
