It's been a long time since we've seen a Marvel One-Shot, something which is quite a surprise considering just a couple of the most recentones helped to launch the Agent Carter TV series and even teased possible plans for Iron Man 4. So, where have they gone? When Collider pointed out that many fans are disappointed that they haven't been featured on a Blu-ray for a while, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige replied: "I’m disappointed too! Frankly, and I think it would be great to see more one-shots. We’ll see…" That sounds like the movies have been put on indefinite hold.
However, Feige couldn't provide any solid details, and it appears as if the decision to scrap the One Shots wasn't his. "You look at me as if I’m the only person who controls that decision; I wish that were the case. But I think when the opportunity arises we would do it, we would jump on it. There is a backlog of ideas for one-shots that we haven’t done yet." This could be a case of the ever frugal Marvel saving money then, which is definitely a shame. After all, they know that a short movie isn't really going to drive sales up that much. What do you guys think? Sound off below...
