Mark Ruffalo's portrayal of Bruce Banner and his cgi alter ego in The Avengers is emerging as the talking point of the movie. Many fans feel his take on the character steals the show. Marvel are well aware of this and seem set to embark on more solo movie outings, hopefully with Ruffalo reprising the role. USA Today have posted a video interview with the actor, in which he discusses the various aspects of playing The Hulk. He says the moment when it really hit him how to approach the performance happened while watching the '60s tv series with his son. He also describes the experiences of performing the actions for The Hulk while wearing a tight-fitting leotard. And, speaks about The Hulk's one line in the movie - "Puny God" - which many people seemed to miss because the scene that precedes it (Hulk "smashing Loki repeatedly) resulted in so much laughter..

Marvel's The Avengers is out now, if you haven't seen it yet do so immediately.
