Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor," and "Captain America: The First Avenger," "Marvel’s The Avengers" is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.

Mark Ruffalo, who is playing Bruce Banner/The Hulk, on Marvel's The Avengers has talked a little bit about replacing Edward Norton, who played the character on The Incredible Hulk:

Norton and I are friends, and he was like, 'You've gotta do it, buddy.' He basically bequeathed it to me. It was very cool and very generous of him.

The cast has Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston and it is coming on May 4th, 2012 in the US!
