Marvel (via Facebook) have revealed that their box office smash hit, The Avengers will return to cinemas in celebration of the Labor Day weekend. You will be able to catch the flick from the 31st of August until the 6th of September. In addition to this news, the studio have also released a high-res still of the Mad Titan, Thanos, who made his film debut in the after credits scene of the film. Let's hope this short re-release can bring even more money for the flick (which has grossed an astounding $1.5B worldwide as of now). Will you be checking out The Avengers one more time before it hits DVD and Blu-ray on September 25th? Sound off in the comments below!

Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

The Avengers stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård , Samuel L. Jackson and will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD September 25th.

Isn't having the Thanos picture a spoiler? They are obviously after fans who want to see it for the twentieth time and not Avengers virgins, so to speak.

Sweet, this gives us the chance to close out summer with a superhero movie that actually has the title characters win the day and actually are like their characters in the comic books.
TDKR was no way to close out the summer CBMs
