More From Marvel's Co-President On The Possibility Of A Female Led Superhero Movie

Sharing his thoughts on the strong female characters they've already introduced in "Phase One", Marvel co-president Louis D'Esposito looks ahead to the future, sharing his thoughts on the chances of any of them getting their own movies and again hinting that a Captain Marvel feature is in the works.

"Captain Marvel is a very strong female character that would be great to do. I love it," Marvel co-president and Agent Carter director Louis D'Esposito told IGN when asked which female superheroes he would most like to see given their own big screen outing. As for what most appeals to him about the character, he added: "She's great and it's always great when they're set in a man's world and they overcome the obstacles in their way and really shine." At this point, there's been far too much Captain Marvel talk for her not to have been discussed at Marvel Studios. Don't be surprised if she ends up starring in one of their 2016 or 2017 features!
