Marvel has just released these official images and details for Marvel's The Avengers LEGO sets, which were first teased at the 2011 San Diego Comic Con. While we've seen some of the below descriptions in the past, this is our first look at the contents of them and may just reveal a few new tidbits about what we can expect to see in the movie later this year.

Captain America's Avenging Cycle

While riding his Avenging Cycle, Captain America spots the general on his craft. Help Captain America use his indestructible shield to defeat the general and his foot soldier! Win the battle and send them back to where they came from. The fate of the world lies in your hands. Includes 3 minifigures: Captain America and more.

Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape

Official description: Loki is escaping from S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters with the powerful Cosmic Cube. If he succeeds, he could use it to wreak havoc on the world! Will Iron Man in his amazing armored suit alongside Hawkeye in his function-packed S.H.I.E.L.D. off-roader be fast enough to catch Loki, or will the Asgardian villain escape with the Cosmic Cube? You decide! Includes 3 minifigures: Iron Man, Loki and Hawkeye.

Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout

The Hulk and Thor have Loki captured on board the Avengers' awesome Helicarrier. Using his powers of trickery and illusion, Loki makes Hawkeye lose control of his function-packed jet fighter. Help Hulk bring down the malfunctioning jet fighter and its flick-missiles by smashing the fuel canisters to hit the jet fighter! Then jump onto the jet fighter and rescue Hawkeye from the cockpit with the cockpit blast function! Includes 4 minifigures: Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye and Loki.

Quinjet Arial Battle

Loki is up to no good and is planning to destroy the earth! As he flies into battle on board his chariot, help the Avenger's defeat their nemesis using the supersonic Quinjet! Fire the missiles, release the mini-jet and imprison Loki in the prison pod! With the high-tech Quinjet, the Avengers can’t fail! Includes Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Loki and more minifigures.

The only one that "looks bad" is the Iron Man figure I agree. Looks like he might have stolen the Judge Dredd helmet from the new film.

I remember when Legos were cool. You could use all the parts from different sets to make whatever you wanted. These look like all the parts are made to only for these designs. I guess kids don't have buckets of Legos anymore. Now you just make a quinjet and then never use those Legos again. So much for encouraging creativity in our children.

@Rodimus9
I remember those days, sadly kids have it easy in todays world. I remember when I was a kid i would always come home from playing with scrapes and bruises on me and my mom just asked how i got hurt and it would be no big deal, but today if kids come home like that parents make a crisis out of it.

The reason Iron Man's helmet is big is because it flips open to show Stark's face.

What I really want to know is who the crap is "the general and his foot soldier?"

so thor is in the trailer sitting on a plane...
gues its the lego set with hawkeye and thor is saving him while he loses control of his jet,and the scene where hawkeye was falling must be him ejecting that same plane...

im just guessing..

mgeoff88 - 2/12/2012, 1:47 PM
I hope they make a LEGO The Avengers video game. That would be awesome to walk around the Avenger's mansion in LEGO form. With the inclusion of online co-op, of course. :)

And does Hawkeye have a soul patch?

@jessepostal Lol, not quite how I'd put it, but I agree.
