Marvel Studios have reached a point where actors are making it publicly known that they want to work with them (look no further than Divergent's Shailene Woodley), and the latest to throw his name into the hat is The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' Orlando Bloom. In the video above, Lee Pace and Evangeline Lilly praise their time working with the Disney owned studio and he then weighs in with whether or not he's interested in also taking on the role of a superhero! "Never say never," eh? How would you guys feel about Bloom taking on a role in the MCU?

You all realize that the vast majority of Hollywood has no idea what is Marvel and what is DC right?

They don't know that Captain America and Batman aren't both Marvel. So all these articles claiming everyone is wanting to jump on the Marvel band-wagon.. keep in mind, they aren't dissing DC/WB, Fox or Sony.. they just don't have a clue who does what.

Marvel is a VERY prominent name in movies right now. They put the Marvel logo in with every Marvel movie. So when Hollywood thinks comicbook character, they think "Marvel" not fully realizing that Marvel has one group of characters, while other companies have other sets of characters.

I hope I'm making sense here. I'm just tired of the pointless DC VS Marvel comments in these threads. It's dumb, yet goes on and on and on in every damn thread.

Yep, Marvels as come a long way in the movie business. As an actor or actress, it would be awesome to get a Marvel contract, you'd be covered for life. Some people may struggle to get one or two big paydays, but with Marvel they want to give you at least 5 blockbusters.

I guess the downside is it doesn't leave to much time for other projects, but in Orlando case, he may be happy with what he has done so far.

"Never say never" "I don't know what kind of superhero I could play"

That's literally it..

What else is he going to say while sitting beside two people who have been in a Marvel film? "Nope, those are dumb". Give me a break. Of course he's going to say yes.

2 actors have expressed interest in appearing in Marvel's films. Only one of the two actors is halfway decent. And with the recent actors that have signed on to work with DC, I highly highly highly doubt they feel hurt.
