RESULTS: What Do You Think Of The New Avengers Costumes?

A few surprises here. It seems the majority of CBMers might not be so happy with the changes made to the original costumes. Click for the results..

I posted some before and after pics (courtesy of Geekrest) of four of The Avengers from Joss Whedon's upcoming movie and asked you to vote on which look you liked best. From the results it seems that most of you liked the costumes better in the character's solo movie outings. With a HUGE majority voting on the most negative choice in the Captain America poll. Only Loki's new look received the majority vote in the most positive option.

You like both of Thor's looks the same, which is understandable since he barely looks any different. And think Widow looks ok but preferred her Iron Man 2 look. I certainly agree on that. In fact on all of these results. Well, I think Cap looks descent in his updated duds but with that comes a certain amount of cheese. What do you guys think, these results reflect your opinions?

dont think i agree on the Black Widow result cause some people on her did not say much about the costume but only focusing on ScarJo weight gain and hair. i know how sad lol

people who thinks that Cap Suit looks shit surely don´t know what post production is.
Loki looks [frick]ing awesome, best change for the movie!
Thor looks almost the same, I don´t know why there are people who are hating it. Longer hair and few changes on the armor, is fine.

i cant wait to see when the new ironman looks like!!

i kinda liek the old cap suit better but the new one isnt that bad, some phototshop during editing will make it looks sweet

Cap super

The costume would have been awesome if they at least kept the old helmet...All Whedon had to do was not eff up the costumes for already established super heroes...

I hate to jump on the hate train, but Captain America's mask sucks! They need to digitally remove it, or fix it in post production. Everyone else looks good.

I LOVE CAPTAIN AMERICA! He is a great character for the right reasons. Now that I actually read and understand comics, I respect him so much more as a character and his costume. When I was younger I hated Captain America. He was a punch line to super heros like spiderman batman and superman but again now he is one of my favs. His costume in TFA was pretty good and it looked more soldier like and a lot more bad ass but I actually like his new one better....in some pics.@capreborn I agree! I think these are mostly bad pics because when the first ones came out everyone loved them. Now these new cap pics were put out which are obviously bad pics and everyone hates them. Dont get me wrong he does look goofy and a lil skinny in some but Im waiting for the movie to be released before i jump the gun and start hating. One point though I loved His reborn steve rogers super soldier costume in the comics.I really think Joss and Marvel have to talk about changing his suit for good.Hes the luke sky walker of marvel and its about time and if they kept the srss suit and just put a helmet similar to the tfa one on cap in the movies and in the comics im sure ppl would show cap more love. Plus Honestly HE NEEDS THE CHIN STRAP. It keeps your eyes focused on his face and not his chin and keeps the balance abd proportion of the helmet on his face. Chris evans doesnt have a cappy chic so it helps a lot but even if chris wasnt playing cap i think they should keep the chin strap, it just works and looks a lot cooler. He's a great character but no one knows it because most ppl dont read the comics and just see a super heros costume....so yeah I do like the new avengers movie one just give it a chance and Marvel if your reading this... ITS ABOUT TIME FOR AN UPDATE! Dont give me that iconic character bullshit. DC thought like that and look what there doing now changing everything. If you agree please comment

Not too long ago, wasn't everybody bitching about how shitty they thought Cap's WWII outfit looked? Now you all want it back! This one even looks more like the comics than that one! Honestly they are even post production yet. I for one think they all look great!

I agree with all of these.

@WallyWestNAM: It's not that we're afraid of change, it's that the new suits for Steve and Natasha pretty much suck.
