Following The Battle Of New York, we saw the Avengers ride off into the sunset, but we didn't really get a good look at how the citizens of New York City responded to the massive alien invasion that annihilated a good portion of the city. We've seen brief nods to how the world viewed the Avengers in subsequent films, but nothing substantial... until now, that is.

Machinima has released a hilarious new Real Fake History video that explores the aftershocks of the destruction caused by the Avengers' battle against the Chitauri. Check it out below:

That was actually pretty damn funny. "Donkey punches the [frick]ing cock-shaped alien spaceship" was the best.

The thing about the Battle of NY that pisses me off is that it looks too much LA and not enough New York

In other news I'm planning on buying 1-3 of the Daredevil/Bendis: Ultimate Collection. Anyone know what I should expect in terms of storytelling?

That was some award winning stuff in my opinion. The marketing for Halo 3 was miles ahead of the marketing for Halo 4. Bungie knew what was up.

-I think I saw somewhere else an Omnibus HC collection... I think there are two volumes. I tried to buy them but they sold out quickly and the prices are now above $170 or so

if you can find them and afford them they should be your best option for Bendis Daredevil. I just bought the Dark tower, the Dark tower the gunslinger and The Stand Stephen King omnibuses from Marvel and let me tell you mate that they are gorgeous, the spine is flexible but it wont fall apart and it looks amazing on my shelf.

I am trying to acquire more and more of those huge HC's they are collecting classic runs. If you have the chance go and get them, they are awesome!

@Mcgee and @ImKennypowers you're both after my heart with those posts, but I could see why given your avatar and name, respectively
